The Productive Dad's Guide to Newborn Babies

When we expected our first child I looked for advice on Hackernews. Is there a way to still be productive with the baby around?

Couldn't find any advice so hacked together a system that worked well. Got to sleep 8 hours per day, had a happy infant, enjoyed ourselves, and did our life’s work during the first six weeks.
