Anonymous personal finance planning – one step forward

Well, here's an update. 24 hours ago I've posted this https://news.ycombinator.com/item?id=9738698 thread.

That's a big step forward for me, because due to all the commenters (thank you), now I have a much clearer picture about what I want to do.

Main specs: - anonymous (all the data will be tied to a dropbox/google drive user id, OAUTH login only), no emails/names/addresses/IPs logged on purpose (on purpose = by me, I don't mean http log files, access logs)

- intelligent forecasting/financial planning (I have a lot of ideas about this one, something I really need)

- no bank connection(way too sensitive data), just OFX/QFX/QIF/CSV importing without personal info

- as simple as possible, yet beautiful/useful web/mobile interface

- monetization without ad networks (I am still thinking how to handle this anonymously)

- family accounts (idea)

Basic specs:

- add transactions

- various graphs/reports

You would need this app, for the bigger transactions. You don't really have to log that you bought a $.40 coffee today. If you plan to buy a car ($10,000), a cofee/meal will not influence this too much. You need an aproximate budget, not exactly until the last cent.

WHAT'S NEXT? - create a landing page to get some early user signing-up for the launch

- create a build-blog (I noticed this worked for groovehq I think and for many others)

- add some early design mockups

- invite users for beta testing

- launch

Did I miss something?
