Google I/O badges will have photos on them
Ticket holders for the upcoming Google I/O conference just received an email today which reads: "New this year, your Google I/O badge will feature your photo." The message indicates that if attendees do not upload a photo ahead of time, one will be taken on-site during check in. There does not appear to be an option for attendees to not supply a photo or to not have one on their badge. Is this Google's plan to prevent badge-sharing? Given the scarcity of tickets (which are purchased using a lottery system), this seems unusually restrictive.
