Florida Hackers Unite
I wanted to invite the members of HackerNews to our Hackathon in Orlando on Monday, November 17.
We’ve partnered with the United Nations, so the web app you build will be focused on addressing data analysis challenges in their real-world humanitarian and diplomatic initiatives. Winning Hackathon submissions will be used within the UN. Officials within the UN, including the Chief Analytics Officer, will be attending the Hackathon, and have described the project as “groundbreaking." You can do good, while learning cool stuff!
This event should appeal to people who have JavaScript and web application development experience. But, don’t worry; we will staff the event with experts to provide help. You will be given tutorials and instructions on our APIs as well as personal hands on help the day of the event. It is also a great opportunity to network with other Qlik Sense developers looking to explore the new API and integration capabilities.
