Ask HN: How much “founders stock” do I issue to myself?
I have a bootstrapped startup. I have incorporated as a C corp, and now need to issue stock to myself. What percentage of the total outstanding stock of the corporation should I issue to myself initially? There are currently no investors, but there may be in the future. Are there tax consequences I should be considering for issuing more vs. less stock to myself?
