Grouper (YC W12) is hiring a rubyist in NYC
Hey HN, We’re looking for an experienced rubyist to join us. This would be a two-pronged role focused on both building product and crunching data to improve our matching process.
Who are you?
- You have 3+ years with Ruby on Rails
- You’re comfortable hosting a brown bag tech talk.
- You’re a fearless explorer - If there’s something you don’t know how to do, you’ll figure out the lowest cost path to understanding it.
- You're comfortable working with large datasets, bonus points if you have experience with Facebook GraphAPI.
Who are we?
We’re a tiny team based in NYC working to engineer the perfect night out with friends. What goes into that? So far we’ve built out matching algorithms, logistics optimizations, customer service AI, and a real-time collaborative email client that’s better than Gmail.
