Ask HN: Does no one else think Chrome's find bar needs more features?
It's always irked me that the find bar in Chrome has no options for case-sensitivity, regexes, etc. It also doesn't reload its matches when the page changes.
I understand that at least 80% of the time, the simple find is enough to get by with. But what about the other 20% of the time? To me, this seems like low-hanging fruit that would enhance my experience a lot.
I was thinking of writing an extension (or even modifying the Chromium source) to address it, but for once, one of my "good ideas" isn't already implemented! This is what finally brings me to ask, does no one else even have this complaint?
