Show HN: March Madness Tempo-Free Stats
This is a side project of mine combining two passions; sports and technology. http://madness.io/bracketology Tempo-free stats offers a better way to compare two teams without using traditional averages (such as points per game). For those of you interested in the tech, the stack includes MySQL, Couchbase, Redis, and a front-end stack of Rails and Foundation framework.
There are some json endpoints as well in case any of you want to use the map-reduced stat data and hack away eg: http://madness.io/matchup/dae/vs/oad/1395332100.json and http://madness.io/players/1772.json I can expose more too if interested, just comment and let me know.
