Ask HN: Move into a non tech game dev role (from a movie oriented degree)?
A relative has just completed a degree in media - film producing/directing/screen writing etc and is finding it slim pickings looking for a job. I was wondering if there's a career path in game development from a film background she could pursue? Any advice or success stories would be appreciated, she's in Australia but would probably be happy to move.
