Seeking Lead Android Engineer for 4M+ Mobile Social Network Circle
We are Circle, "The Local Network" - a scrappy team of 8, funded by Andreessen-Horowitz, Ron Conway, Ashton, Pincus... that has over 4 Million users of our mobile application. (It is currently in the top 20 in Social applications in both the Android and iOS market and top 10 overall in numerous social-networking loving countries like South Korea).
The concept of Circle is to show you what's happening near your location, now. (Who, what, where... now!).
We have one of the top engineering teams in the valley and put much more emphasis on raw intelligence and drive than anything else. Dropouts welcome, no experience necessary.
A few things about Circle: - Our team is among the best in the world: 3 of our teammates have been ACM-ICPC World finalists, one was Presidents Gold Medalist at IIT-Delhi, one was #1 in TopCoder in India and google code jam world finalist. Our designer designed the #1 ad campaign in Russia and the list goes on. - Our investors are top (A16Z, Ron Conway, Ashton Kutcher, David Sacks, Keith Rabois, Mark Pincus...) - Our culture is flat, meritocratic and transparent. Everybody knows everything about the company and the best idea always wins no matter who it comes from.
