FakeValley: 'The Onion' For Silicon Valley
fakevalley.comIt's a shame it's called "fake valley". Was looking forward to the other news agencies ripping off the stories and thinking they're real (http://www.npr.org/2012/12/01/166293306/the-onion-so-funny-i...).
I would have gone with siliconevalley.
50% of the headlines are funny but the writing is terrible. Please do not compare this to the onion with years of award winning writing. Also the CSS is terrible.
In the current gold rush, there are so many hokey startups with buzzwordy derivative missions ("we're the Airbnb for Big Data ROI!") that a great satire site could be made from copying their mission statements and change a few words around. FakeValley kind of tries too hard
also: I don't think you should promote yourself as a satire site. That's kind of like going around telling everyone you're a hilarious and witty comedian.
I prefer Tech News Rumor Insider

I'd love to read more stories on it. But editors/founders of this site need to improve UX/Design
The hovering share widget obstructs the first ~15 characters of text in my browser window. Please fix!
Thanks, will do. Also just noticed some issues with the categories, will fix those as well.
Not The Onion, but, maybe, with some luck and careful nurturing, it'll take root.
Cool i've been looking for a site ugly enough to read while I cut myself
