Ask HN: What do you want from a therapist/counselor?
I'm a student in a mental health counseling program (meaning I'll be licensed to open a therapy practice), and the HN population is a good sample of one of the groups I'm most interested in serving.
I'm interested in hearing anything you'd like to share on the subject of working with a mental health professional -- from modes of service, to method of discovery/marketing thoughts, to the nature of the relationship, to the expectations and goals you'd have going in. I'd also be interested in any ideas you might have for disruption or creative approaches.
Whatever thoughts you have, I'd enjoy hearing. Thanks!
