Show HN: Infinite-Zoom Collaborative Canvas
neverendingpainting.artI wanted to spend the weekend by trying to create a shared endless canvas. I was sure it would be quite possible with today's best AI (started 4 months ago).
The idea was simple, you start with any seed image, and each time you zoom, if this place was not discovered already by someone else, you call gen-ai to discover the next piece.
Eventually it took me months to complete, and because it took me so long, i wanted to perfect it. more info about my journey in the /about page.

Lovely idea. Zooming forever into other people's doodles is weirdly calming. How do you keep the tiles consistent at deep zoom levels?
10x. it took me some time to get it correctly, but eventually, I'm sending the parent image, the neighbors, and some prompt. at first i had a rule that if there is a neighbor, we must use flux, but flux was too blurry, i guess because i gave it the parent. so nano banana is used 90% of the times.
btw, you can create your own world and change the rules, so you would prompt each time you discover a new place
