Hey everyone!

Joshua and Egbert from TalkJS here. Today we're launching Tori, an AI support agent built for difficult product questions.

Other tools we tried struggled with the technical questions we get at TalkJS, so we built our own. One of our test questions was: "How can I add two-way sync between TalkJS and my Minecraft mod?"

Our docs never mention Minecraft, and TalkJS does not have a Java SDK. Tori figured out how a Java Edition mod could use Kotlin, found our Kotlin Data API even though it isn't mentioned on the homepage, and explained step-by-step how to connect the two. It avoided the obvious solution of REST + webhooks, and explained why that would be insecure in a clientside mod.

That's what it means for support to actually be good. Understand what customers are trying to build, research the features and limitations, and work out how they fit together. Tori works great even when no single page contains the answer.

Tori browses your live website and documentation, no retraining step. We've been using it for TalkJS support over the past few months, and it handles 87% of our customer enquiries autonomously.

Customers can ask for a human at any point, and you can always see what Tori is telling them and what it thinks. So your team can jump in and work alongside Tori, with the conversation and research already there. Our goal is for your customers to get good help faster, with human support always in reach.

Tori is built on TalkJS, whose infrastructure handles 130M+ monthly messages. The TalkJS base means you can fully customize the interface's components, layout and behavior to fit your product.

You also get direct access to senior Tori developers for free, including help with customization. We're launching early so customers can help shape the product.

I’ve been involved in building Tori, so I’m obviously biased, but one thing that became clear to us is how often customer questions require more than finding a matching paragraph in the docs. You need to understand what someone is trying to build, connect information across different pages, and know when a proposed solution won’t actually work.

That’s the problem we’re trying to solve with Tori. We’re still early and would genuinely love to hear where it works well, where it falls short, and what you think is missing.
