Show HN: Photo Ferret – open-source photo album with creative filters
github.comI wanted a way to filter my photo album using more creative continuous filters (scene complexity, presence of curvy lines, portion of photo occupied by mountains, etc.) Photo Ferret has two components: 1) Run the application on your computer and use the TypeSafe Jev API to generate a lot of metadata for each image. 2) Export as a static site that runs on Cloudflare. The site uses the metadata to enable powerful filtering. Demo site here: https://stevenjonesphotography.ca/ Repo here: https://github.com/JonesSteven/photo-ferret
Would love to see any galleries you build with it or any ideas for additional filters.
