Show HN: Erlang Concepts in Golang
goer.p6m.onlI’ve always been facinated by talks on erlang and elixir. It was intriguing to me how Erlandson was used to do amazing fault-tolerant deployments of cell phone technology, how it could do live software patching etc.
I haven’t had the time since I heard about it to really try and build something similar in a language I enjoyed so I turned to Claude and built as many erlang/beam features into a golang superset I guess you could say. I wanted something that was practically go but had erlang paradigms and this was where my experiment landed.
I’m still yet to find a practical use case for it, but it’s a fun experiment that I enjoyed putting together.
