Ask HN: Is anyone still running Token Ring or FDDI networks?
Recent discussion on Token Ring networks has me wondering, has anyone seen any Token Ring or FDDI networks still running out there?

Since both use rings, you might be also interested in Fibre Channel arbitrated loop topology. Newer, but still old, of no practical significance.
Not me, but I'd like to get a Token Ring network setup for my retro PC lab and try some multiplayer games over it. Maybe bridge it into my regular LAN (behind a firewall of course) for testing too.
Not me, but I remember when the janitor disconnecting a computer on the other side of the school killed all the net. So my guess is that everyone ran away as soon as they could.
