Show HN: Wayseer – A native desktop app for browsing real-time data
wayseer.appAs an IT professional, I felt a distinct lacking of a real-time tool for tracking down problems in complex systems. I have created Wayseer Desktop as a way to explore more effective ways to explore live systems.
There's a very functional free version, and paid options that unlock additional features. I'm curious what you all think of the approach. I'm a systems engineer by trade (with some development experience), not a developer, so I have relied on AI to do the heavy lifting while I request features, report bugs and perform as much manual testing as I feasibly can.
There are bound to be bugs... but it is still very young and has a (hopefully) long future in which refinements can be made.
This is a super cool way to visualize how things are connected!
Sometimes when managing large systems it can be hard to have a picture in your head of how everything is connected, and the dependencies things have on one another, so I can see a need for this.
Might be a little overkill for the average hobbyist, but who doesn’t love a little overkill…
