That has relatively little to do with CS 1.6. If anything, it looks and plays like one of the many Unity asset flips. RIP those burned tokens
Appreciate the feedback - it's a monolithic rust wasm "from scratch" clone (no engine), and doesn't use assets or anything from the original game or any asset packs or otherwise.
Will be getting continuous improvement (https://zergboard.com/app/boards/156641b3-f67b-483f-a587-e1c...) as folks play it and over time. The asset quality / look and feel has a long ways to go - but getting something that played well was really the goal. I purposefully kept it more lo-fi and to stick with the 1.6 era aesthetic.
