Can't Publish Link
Hello, Maybe someone can help me i can't submit a link with my account but i have no more explanation. did anyone ever face this issue ?
Send an email to hn@ycombinator.com so dang/tomhow can give an official explanation. I'll rehash an old rehash of an older comment. They got an error that said: "spend some time to comment, get around with the community"
Try to find post you think that are interesting and upvote the good comments. Please don't upvote jokes, unless the joke is very original and very funny.
If you and expert (or semi-expert) in the subject, try to reply to the questions in the comments. You can try to add your own questions if nobody else had asked them.
Don't write short comments. They should be at have at least three or four sentences. This is not a hard rule, but you must know very well what you are doing to write a oneliner. (Very long comments that are a wall of text are also bad.)
It's not necessary that the comments are perfect. I try to fix all the grammar and orthography errors but when I read my comments later I always find a few obvious errors. Also, don't use AI to write or polish them.

Are you writing in French and autotranlationg into English? There are some automatic filters, but I don't know the details. They may be triggered by autotranlation.

This is an area that in some respects is reflective of the net late 90's and early 00's. There's an expectation of a polite procedure ... human eyes will sit and read and arrive at a rough consensus what works, and certain things that might not. Now I would assume you have read the sites guidelines and whatnot after joining almost 2 months ago ... and plenty of topics in Ask have popped up about certain difficulties so I guess the link is not one to your blog - thus the link is most likely to be to a site the forum's algorithms has already blocked.
Hello, to you too ! Thanks for the feedback, but it's just an article from my personal blog. The system error points to my account status, not a blocked domain.
What was the system error message?
i get this as error message : "Sorry, your account isn't able to submit this site."
Yes doing a quick search [1] it's now apparently a more frequent error message for those trying to post show HN threads, especially if it's from a new account - so specifically the automatic filters are not liking your blog site.
Also your account looks like it's unused and you have not commented that much in that time - a guess is one of the algorithms used to filter fluff has taken that into account as well.
It is probably time to email the staff at HN for a bit of help. From what I've read, a little self promotion - proportionate though to other submissions, is ok - but it's got to be something that might be of interest.
Too many bot accounts just want to do promotion only and have near or no interaction with the membership at large which is why these additional filters have been introduced / tightened.
