Show HN: Fractalysis – Online interactive infinite-zoom Mandelbrot viewer
erwindegroot.nlFractalysis is a free Mandelbrot viewer that runs in your browser. It zooms far deeper than double precision allows, using perturbation and arbitrary-precision arithmetic.
I originally started this project 10 years ago, frustrated with existing limited or difficult to use viewers. I just finished porting this to web for everyone to enjoy directly :)
There are still features I would like to add, like creating animations, automatic zooming and advanced user settings.

Looks great :) It would be nice to be able to manually tweak the plotting algorithm or some underlying metrics.
Yes, that would be nice. Currently the app is heavily optimized just for the standard Mandelbrot set to squeeze out every last drop of performance. I will have a go at this, but it will be challenging :) Thanks!
Looks great, the colors are really pleasant. What I personally find missing with all fractal zoom animations is that they always insist on zooming-in motion, while I believe the more logical direction would be zooming-out motion. Yes, yes, I know, I could download the YouTube video and reverse it to achieve the same thing, but, somehow, I could never find the time to do that.
