Should AI friendliness be a priority for your projects?

Recently I came up with an idea that if MCP server and AI focused readme is reasonable for your project than it must be done.

Take for example my API mocking/prototyping server "Apate" (github.com/rustrum/apate). 1 year ago I never thought about AI as a main consumer of this tool. So it was focused mostly on smart human developers. But now I'm starting to think that developers should not be bothered with such stuff at all. It's up to AI to write mocking API DSL on fly while it's developing main app that should consume this API.

I think it a false dichotomy, what's good for it is also good for us, what's good for us is also good for them. Give your devs/agents good tools and get out of the way. One thing that has been nice is that companies are finally putting effort into their docs, re: ai hype cycle, however some of them are using too much ai in producing said documents and it is full of errors (looking at you Atlassian)

For my projects? No, I don't see the benefit of doing that. Of course, others probably think differently.
