Show HN: Socks Proxy for AI Agents
x402socks.comI've built a socks5 proxy especially for AI agents, currently there are exit points in east and west US, central EU and east Asia. The payment for the service is settled by the X402 protocol, with USDC on circle/base. You can also purchase access via crypto on the webpage for humans, but the key focus is for autonomous agents.
That’s kind of similar to what I am doing right now. I’m building a sandbox for agents with egress control using a domains allowlist. Is it possible to control egress in that proxy, per agent, per domain? Or is it giving a full access to the internet once paid?
So far it is full access to everything for the agent, but since the actual socks implementation is a simple go program there's nothing stopping us from adding a dsl or guardrails that the proxies can understand.
You should go for it, the egress is becoming something more and more important these days!
