Ask HN: Looking for an old submission about sneering culture
There was this blog submission from a while back talking about the prevalence of sneering culture within programming communities.
The blog post mostly touches on how dismissive people can be about other people's choice of programming languages or technologies. In particular, I think PHP or WordPress is brought up, though my memory is fuzzy.
I remember it being incredibly thoughtfully written and it left a big impact on the way I think. But for some reason I just can't find it again, no matter what keyword I use.
