I just wanted to know what you guys have enjoyed recently, or really any book you'd recommend to the HN crowd. I've currently got:

- Metamagical Themas (Hofstadter)

- The Complete Books of Charles Fort (Fort)

- Heavenly Mathematics (van Brummelen)

- Plane and Spherical Trigonometry (Kells, Kern and Bland)

- Spherical Trigonometry with Naval and Military Applications (Kells, Kern, Bland)

- Moby Dick (Melville)

- Lobbying for Zionism on Both Sides of the Atlantic (Ilan Pappé)

Treasure Island by Robert Louis Stephenson. Sometimes it is good to go back to the classics. The copy which I read was illustrated by N.C. Wyeth which made it especially fun to read.

Normally I'd be recommending some kind of Sci-Fi or Fantasy series, but based on your reading list, here's a couple of books from the boring science genre that I actually finished, so they have to be at least somewhat worthwhile:

- Scale (Geoffrey West) - When Everyone Knows That Everyone Knows… (Steven Pinker)

Flattening the Earth: Two Thousand Years of Map Projections - John P. Snyder
