Since nitter and xcancel is taken down for now, what are you using to read things from x.com without account?
I would assume that if you were using nitter or xcancel it’s because you did not want to support X.
You should be aware that linking to X content (whatever mechanism you use) supports it and encourages people the carry on posting there.
Just stop consuming content from X.
you are right, but we also can't control other people who are posting there, lots of AI/ML news happen there because where else can you post them? I don't think instagram, snapchat or facebook is good forum for such news / one-off thoughts.
I have an X account, so a web browser with uBlock Origin and visiting x.com.
You can probably still self-host a Nitter instance, at the risk of a C&D?
Nothing. Same as what I've been using to access it for the last ~5 years.
I use Chrome and adblock plus to access Twitter. I use ut for Facebook, and pretty much everything. I avoid "apps" like the spy infested plague they are.
