Professor Clifford Mass is very very good at where the weather might be at next week.

This isn't quite the same as the range of where the climate will be at in ten or fifty years. But, he has worked with Sagan so ... ?

His statements, such as:

  The scientific evidence and demonstrated societal impacts are clear:  human-caused global warming is a modest problem.  It is not an existential threat to humanity.
are true in the context of his backward looking graphs and news reports so far.

This has been batted about back and forth for some time now. See also:
