Humor ability reveals intelligence, predicts mating success. Is higher in males

It may be an impossible thing to get funding for, but I would love to see this kind of study done in a matriarchal society and see what the results would look like. I'm not looking to argue with the results here, but I am curious as to how the set up of society (patriarchal vs matriarchal) is affecting the results of the study.
