Not mine, but found that via a search engine. I had to submit code to a journal doing double-blind review, this site made that easily possible.

Ok, but why? I can host my own git server for using git just by myself. Why should I want to share it and loose any credit?

    Yes, you can do that, but the use-case here is different.

    We collaboratively wrote some code that we want/have to submit to a journal for a manuscript. The journal wants to have an anonymized version of the code. Since the code contains comments with the name of collaborators and other identifying data (drive name, etc.) that has to be anonymized for the submission (and will be open eventually), we can `sed` all this out, but this service does that automatically, with a nice web-view of the code like GitHub.
