I made a silly product management sim inspired by Lemmings. Except the lemmings are kittens, and the kittens are your customers.

The game is based around a 30-day subscription loop, and the core idea is to make the cause & effect of trade-offs in product management visible and playable.

I’ve worked in product for many years, and wanted to see if there was an interactive way to share my experiences with people who have an interest in making product. Learning by doing, rather than reading a book. Hopefully it’s fun too.

// Built with React, TypeScript & Phaser. The sim engine is pure TypeScript / maths, and the game draws from its state. I’m a PM, so used a standard-ish product workflow, & Claude as my engineering team.

Right now it’s desktop only, as I want to validate the idea before spending even more time on this and adding even more complexity.

So honest question (& brutal honesty welcome):

Does the concept work? Is it educational / useful / fun? & yes I get it’s a bit bonkers, but is it bonkers in the right way?

Really cool concept! However, I got lost during the first level. Perhaps because I skipped the text? It might help to have the cats explain things via speech bubbles as you play.

    Hey thanks for the feedback.

Yes in early playtesting I sometimes found myself skipping the level objective text too!

So I made the option to re-show the level text by pressing the i icon in the top right. But I guess I should sign-post this more.

BTW you can try the levels which is the gradual learning mode - or if you just want to see all the mechanics at once - select the 'free play' button. But it might be a bit nuts.
