Flock puts new 'guardrails' on license-plate cameras. Critics skeptical

"Flock said that more misuse was identified after a third of the agencies it contracts with voluntarily enabled the auditing tools. These results have not been independently verified, the ACLU said. Moreover, local agencies retain control over their own data, meaning they could revert to different settings."

To their credit, I believe the recent spate of (police) misconduct charges have been directly as a result of this internal auditing tool/setting, and the respective departments willingness to self-police (pun intended).

So, way to go Flock.
