Mathematicians Need to Act

Pardon my language, but this is an extremely stupid take.

His argument for rejecting AI is that it doesn't matter that it slows progress because the field doesn't actually produce any benefits other than warm fuzzies for mathematicians. Ok, good luck leading with that when you're asking for grant money.
