Who's making money from using/exploiting AI?

I'm looking for some concrete examples of any AI advancements actually causing someone to financially prosper where they didn't before. Most of the examples I can think of make someone or something slightly more streamlined or productive, and so I'm looking for cases where company X is now Y% more profitable because of AI advancements.

I know web designers that are getting good ol’ local business requests that are now one shotting the sites they used to spend a considerable amount of time on. So I think that’s something. But I couldn’t give you percentages

Not sure if your "AI advancements" includes our use case or not, but I built a service that allows people to quickly make videos from powerpoint presentations using AI voiceovers. With the advancements in AI voices, the service became more useful and more profitable. For lectures, demo and instructional videos, the voices are now pretty on-par with human narrators, and using an AI voice helps people record, edit, re-record much faster than if they were doing it themselves (even assuming they have decent audio equipment and audio panels on walls to block out background noise, which most people don't actually have these days).

I guess people working at model companies. There is a lot of investor money floating around in different forms. Familiar with circular financing? Here's what seems to be happening. Chip company or a cloud provider invests equity/capital into an AI lab => AI Lab uses that funding to place massive GPU orders back with the chip maker or using compute of the cloud provide => Chip maker/cloud provider books revenue. Higher the revenue, higher the stock price :-).

I make money by bieng "exploited" by AI, but have never interacted with so much as a chatbot or ever been on big tech social media platform, perhaps? the website I rent, has been found and incorporated into the recomendations routines somehow, but how that works exactly is beyond me, but somedays my phone blows up with a relenless barrage of inquiries into all things metal from people, and so I am useing this oportunity to explore how much my services are worth

The question isn't only who is making money with AI.

It's also who is making money because AI makes exploitation cheaper.

Lowering the cost of attacking high-income markets is an economic effect too.
