What if my prose is AI-assisted, but it's the result of hours of conversations with an agent, with constant back-and-forth, dozens of iterative rewrites, and refinement until the structure, tone, and style are exactly right? Focusing on the intent and the desired outcome rather than manually laying out one word after another.
Are you sure the intent is still yours after going through that process?
If one goes through this process, can you be even sure that you have any creative direction any more? I doubt it. "Exactly right" is a moving definition that is diminished in worth when one gives up independence of thought. That's not even restricted to AI: people who can't shut themselves away for a while to contemplate their own self expression invariably cannot produce something to the best of their ability. AI is just the apex of this phenomenon.
I'd say this is relevant:

Eh this article says very little which is a major problem with bot written content too.
My desire to attribute myself is based on how much of my effort is in there and it always will be.
