Oh-my-pi: A coding agent with the IDE wired in
omp.shBenn trying this out instead of open code with Z.ai and it was dead simple to start. I've had a generally positive experience so far. It feels like a power-user edition of a TUI agent, yet to get up and running didn't require any tweaks beyond setting a model to use.
I really like it, especially how it can easily get search from Codex/Gemini/etc.
When I tried it, I kept trying to login with some accounts via OAUTH and they all said to only accept logins from their official tool, which makes me think using this with on of my subscriptions will get me banned.
I like using it but I get the feeling the author is not benchmaxxing in ci properly

This is weird. "Windows-native" as a selling point -- does this support Linux/BSD? Why is it marketing for Windows when I'm viewing the page on Mac?
I believe they mean "the windows version does not need WSL layer", as stated right after that
I mean sure? But WSL isn't a problem for me on Mac, so its presence makes me feel like the product is Windows-specific.
Well yeah, AI loves to focus on things that sound important but aren’t actually that important. Like “unapologetically native.” Um, no one is shaming native apps. There’s no actual drama here. But of course the AI doesn’t actually think, it’s just adding text that looks shiny and important and catchy
The bar for “weird” is so low these days. “It’s so weird that they haven’t put the effort into agent-sniffing to tailor their marketing content!!”.
I mean it's weird that Windows-native is practically in their headline with no mention of other operating systems except in barely-readable tiny transparent text? Like, it took me a while to figure out whether they supported other platforms at all.
For macos, the mention of a brew installation is pretty a dead giveaway. Right under the headline.
It's weird to see anything advertised as "Windows native" because for the last three decades it was the expected norm for any new software to be Windows-first if not Windows-only.
It's like saying your program is PC compatible. What else would it be?
Hence the "even on Windows".
