Mario Kart Wii recompiled for PC using AI, with 4K potential and uncapped FPS

Super interesting if this proves to be a viable technique. I would absolutely love to see some native PC releases of Nintendo games (I know big N will never do it)

Sad it's not available right now because talking about it puts a target on them for Nintendo to shut them down even if this effort is technically legal (not sure it is).

I wonder if this type of thing could cause a new age of game preservation, some games are just finicky and won't run on modern machines and throwing AI to port a code-base may allow some older gems to work properly again.
