Sounds more like Google's M.O., honestly.

Exactly the kind of behavior I would expect from a company that spies on every LinkedIn user. Why would anyone assume fairness from such an entity?

As a whole that company behaves like a sociopathic repeat-offender, for ages. Your fault if you do business with them.
