Is there any photo of the hardware?
What is each part? I see two devices, but I don't thick each one is looking at one source.
Do you have photos of the sources? (I used a few in the lab. They are quite boring, like a plastic chip, or dirt inside a transparent plastic case.) Anyway, I think people here would appreciate more technical details.
