Physical Disc Production to End for New Games Releasing on PlayStation Consoles

At some point it was obvious optical media would not be fast enough to compete with built in spinning rust, much less flash memory. Is the PS5 drive a BD one? Can it read 100GB media?

And, of course, how will Sony delete the program disk from your shelf when they feel you enjoyed it enough?
