watchOS 27 drops support for Apple Watch Series 6/7/8/9 and Ultra 1
apple.comAs someone with an Apple Watch Series 8 I feel like this was a really bad deal for me.
Pretty much the only reason to buy the 8 over the 7 was that it is one year newer and therefore expected to receive updates one year longer (like Apple has usually done before).
Apple has updated the page to list the Series 9 as supporting WatchOS 27.
Wow.
Indeed. I think it's the most radical support drop ever for Apple.
