Been trying to post and I am getting flagged for it
Recently I have built a open-source project wanted to share it but the post is getting flagged I don't know why. Pretty new here. > Pretty new here. Probably also part of the reason. agreed we'll figure it out ditto. signed up, posted a link to a project, and whammo! flagged instantly. Unsurprising, the guidelines for HN state that self promotion is okay ... but not as the sole activity of an account. Did you consider playing nice and perhaps taking the regular forum users out to dinner first? Make some light conversation? People (the other HN users) react poorly to strangers busting in and spruiking in their living room / corner bar. It is unwanted AI slop that people here are not interested in. Can't disagree with you but when you see people curing cancers and stuff with ai some people can really do good stuff. Absolutely understand now and I admit it was ai generated. I was lazy so I went the easier way. I guess I will try to post in a different angle then. This place is full of silly tech bros and klowns who think they are inconvenienced billionaires. They hate real deal good projects. If your link gets to stay, good for you, but it is unlikely.
