What happens when companies replace managers with AI?

This could slash a ton of pointless meetings and status theater. Curious how long until the AI starts "aligning stakeholders" and asking for budget increases though.

We will always need a certain type of human managers to manage the remaining people that work there. We need that human touch, AI can never replace that I think
