Big Hype, but the reality is only a tiny spaceport on a tiny Portuguese island in the Atlantic Ocean. Their goal seems to be "a cost-effective launch site for smaller rockets with smaller satellites, within the EU".

Once construction is done, the article says thirty-five people will work there. That is probably >1% of the entire island's workforce, so it'd be reasonable if the local mayor or whatever got excited...but DW???
