Ask HN: How are you handling upfront AI token costs when building products?

I just go for claude max20x sub. I bleed the weekly allocation dry within a few days, but it's hella cheaper token usage wise than api credits. I burned through 300 usd within a few last days bus my weekly wasn't available....
Following the guideline from Karpathy, planning first before any coding and make sure the tool always focus coding and think about how to coding instead of do something others, e.g. copy file, downloading.
But I think Claude Max can resolve anything :D
