About most things, no... you'd have to be a fool to believe him.
But I have no problem believing he'll dissolve xAI.
The only use he's gotten out of xAI AFAICT is to scam his way out of the twitter disaster via valuation inflation.
Grok offers a "supergrok" api for something like $300/yr so that might be a revenue stream built by xAI.
I stopped listening to him when he said he wanted to die on mars. I think that was 10+ years ago.
I don't believe anything he says about anything, and haven't for a while.
SpaceX is profitable. Merging with xAI hides the absolute dumpster fire P&L xAI is bringing to the table. He can continue to fund his ego projects to the detriment of both orgs.
