Google DeepMind workers in UK vote to unionize amid deal with US Military

Anyone from Deepmind able to comment on this move?

From the outside this seems like a big play - UK arm moving to block a US defence deal, first major unionisation of tech workers in the MAG7, employees that would be difficult to replace in the current AI race ..
