Skip return flight for YC Stockholm afterparty?
I’m attending the YC event in Stockholm and already booked a return flight right after it ends, but I’m wondering if I’m making a mistake.
My main goal is to meet and get to know other builders. For people who’ve been to YC events or similar, do you actually get to connect with people during the event itself, or does most of the real networking happen at the afterparty?
Trying to decide whether it’s worth missing the flight and staying an extra night, or if the event alone is enough. Most interesting things at events is getting to know people. Hard to get to know people properly during a talk. I would stay unless the plane ticket is super expensive, or there are other commitments you have to make.
