This is cool. However, the TI MSPM0 series are also shooting squarely in this range.

Yes, they are about 2x the same price and are ARM instead of RISC-V.

However, in return you get analog peripherals that have some hope of not sucking, actual documentation, and a standardized debugging interface.

Normally I would make snide comments about not having to deal with the vagaries of Chinese suppliers, but I live in the US so I can't really throw stones about that right now.

PY32 series - ARM core, faster, more ram, more flash, DMA, PLL, same or lower price, more package options, available from JLC or LCSC. Docs available in English, or use STM32F0 docs, but ignore the errata (Puya fixed them all)

Good to see fixed point get a shout out, but seeing how the author concluded that was the problem would have been nice. Profiling tools? Emulator?

I've been looking at something similar. The playdate and Wookash's podcast with Alex Evans really reignited my love for custom electronic designs!
