Ask HN: Incoming Meta layoffs, what now?
This is a larger question for the SV engineer base losing jobs due to AI. What are your future plans? And what are your current thoughts about all of this? This is not the first crash I have seen. It is now time to double down. I think the layoffs are happening because those companies overinvested in AI and compute, and it is not paying off as quickly as they expected.
