Trump tried to use nuclear codes but was stopped
aol.comAccording to one guy on YouTube. And that's not how the US nuclear system works. You don't "use the codes". You give an order; the "codes" authenticate that the order came from the President.
A general would have no need of that. He's right there in the room.
If a general rejected an order from the President to use nuclear weapons, that would be extremely newsworthy. And unfortunately there's no way he'd confirm or deny that. But this sounds like a garbled story at best.
